1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (Konsumentenschutzgesetz, KSchG), and—as implemented for distance contracts—the Austrian Act on Distance and Off-Premises Contracts (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz, FAGG).

1.1 Withdrawal Period

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.

1.2 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by a clear statement. You may:

2. Conditions for Returns

2.1 General Conditions

To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • Products must be unused and in the original packaging
  • Products must not be opened (sealed products must remain sealed)
  • Products must be returned with all original labels and tags
  • Products must be accompanied by proof of purchase

2.2 Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if the seal has been removed after delivery
  • Goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalized
  • Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly

For dietary supplements, if the seal has been broken or the product has been opened, the right of withdrawal may not apply for hygiene reasons.

3. Effects of Withdrawal

3.1 Refunds

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:

  • 14 days after the day we receive the returned goods, or
  • 14 days after the day you provide evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier

We will use the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

3.2 Return Shipping Costs

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. The cost is estimated at a maximum of approximately €15-20 for standard parcels within Austria or the EU.

3.3 Diminished Value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

4. Return Process

  1. Contact Us: Before returning any product, please contact us at connectuse@filteraoeco.world to initiate the return process and receive a return authorization.
  2. Package the Product: Securely package the product in its original packaging, if available.
  3. Include Documentation: Include your order confirmation or proof of purchase and your withdrawal statement.
  4. Ship the Product: Send the package to our return address. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
  5. Confirmation: Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

6. Defective Products

If you receive a defective product or a product that does not match your order, please contact us immediately. Under Austrian law and EU consumer rights, you are entitled to:

  • Free repair or replacement of the defective product
  • A price reduction or full refund if repair or replacement is not possible

We will cover all return shipping costs for defective products.

7. Legal Warranty

Under Austrian and EU law, consumers have a legal warranty (Gewährleistung) of 2 years for defects that existed at the time of delivery. During the first year after delivery, it is presumed that any defect that becomes apparent existed at the time of delivery (reversal of the burden of proof).

8. Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and approve your return. Please note that your bank or credit card company may require additional time to process the refund to your account.

9. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products with broken seals (for hygiene reasons)
  • Products past their expiration date
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper storage by the customer
